This physics based game is a challenging “Angry Birds” style of game to illustrate Kenco’s blend of instant coffee with finely-milled wholebeans (millicules as Kenco likes to call them). The concept is to work your way through increasingly challenging levels that involve launching a coffee bean from one end of an abstract room into an instant coffee tin, while either avoiding or using the rooms obstacles.
To develop the physical world of this game along with the creation of physical objects, I used Box 2D Flash which is a port to AS3 of Box2D, an open source 2d physics engine by Erin Catto. Further to my development of the game and application flow/logic, I was also largely responsible for the level designs which involved experimenting and planning how to layout a level for a user to play. Design by Proximity London.
