The Island Queen Cruise departs from the town dock in Parry Sound for two-hour and three-hour sightseeing cruises through the wild and rugged Thirty Thousand Islands region of Georgian Bay.
The development of the public website was primarily HTML and CSS and mainly informational in content. It also provided an online reservation form. Users fill out the three-step reservation request form and on completion of the form it sends data to the custom reservation system built specially for Island Queen Cruise to manage incoming reservations.
These reservations are stored in the ‘New Requests’ tab of the administration end of the site. Island Queen Cruise administrators can then either approve or reject the request. An email is sent to the user with the appropriate automated message depending on if the request was approved or rejected. The request is then stored accordingly in either the ‘Approved Requests’ tab or ‘Rejected Requests’ tab for future reference. Design by Riordon Design.
